Based in Seaforth on the northern beaches of Sydney, Hobbs Jamieson Architecture is an architectural practice focussing on residential design. We have over 25 years experience, delivering crafted, well managed buildings via a tailored and communicative consultancy process.

We have the capacity and skill set to design and manage single homes, duplexes and apartment building projects, being class 2 registered design practitioners.

Our services are tailored to the specific needs of each client and include initial project feasibility, concept design, planning approvals, design and documentation, construction documentation and contract administration during the construction phase.

Our staff have substantial collective experience in the industry in urban design, architecture and interior design both locally and internationally and have won design awards for their work.

The team’s skills are focussed on strong communication with our clients and supporting consultants. We are clear and rational thinkers who like to work with our clients toward mutually rewarding goals and happy, successful, well crafted projects.

Adam Hobbs

Adam has a broad range of experience across a number of architectural disciplines gained over the course of his career to date. His focus is concerned with the creation of crafted and considered design solutions that respond to the clients needs.

Adam’s role as principal concentrates on the direction of all projects the practice undertakes. Adam’s primary roles include design direction from concept through to completion including all client and consultant management throughout each project.

His experience has ranged from isolated work postings in South East Asia managing large scale educational rebuilding projects through to design and documentation of multiple mixed-use residential projects and single residential projects of varying scales and complexities.

Adam has won design awards for his work, held positions at The University of Sydney and the University of Newcastle as a design educator and tutor. He has been an A+ member of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects since 1999 and a member of the Board of Architects of NSW since 2003. Adam has also been registered as a class 2 Design Practitioner since 2022.
